Improving Communication and Honesty in Winnebago County

Cameron Crandall (2025)

About Me:

Although I am only 18, and a senior in high school, I bring a fresh perspective and new energy to politics, which can inspire others and address issues that resonate with younger generations. My passion for change drives me to make a difference, and I believe this enthusiasm can help galvanize support for my vision. Additionally, being a high school senior allows me to stay connected to the challenges and concerns of my peers, while my ability to learn and adapt quickly is a valuable asset that helps me stay open to new ideas and adjust to the evolving needs of my community.

Why Vote for Me?

  • I'm extremely hardworking and meticulous in everything that I do.

  • I'm always looking for the best way to help as many people as possible, no matter their situation.

  • I'm always willing to listen, change, and work for my constituents.

About My Campaign:

  • Why I'm Running: I want to continue to improve transparency in county government so residents know what’s happening in the county and what their district supervisor is doing.

  • Fresh Leadership: At 18, I believe our youth need more of a voice. Right now, the youngest board member is Christian Mueller, a college student, and I want to help change that.

  • Engaged Leadership: Many people don’t even know who their supervisor is. The current District 23 supervisor, is Koby Schellenger, who has run unopposed for three terms. I’m here to offer a choice.

  • Working Together: I’m ready to collaborate with current board members, staff, and County Executive Gordon Hintz.
